Amanda's passion for tattooing began in high school, where she studied the art of tattooing for a graduation project. She then began a two-year apprenticeship in 2001 near the end of her junior year, and by her senior year, she was already tattooing her close family and friends. She continued to work hard and strived to excel in her newfound craft. Moving around and tattooing at multiple shops, Amanda still wanted to push for more. In 2010, she started traveling, working conventions and doing guest spots, while also taking classes for permanent cosmetics. Then, in July 2017, she opened her very own shop: Tell-Tale Art Studios. Amanda enjoys all styles of tattooing but leans more towards bright color work, realism and fantasy.
A lifelong artist, Erik has been into art of all kinds since a young age. His interest in tattooing came while in high school, as he began drawing tattoo designs for friends. It was at that time he began studying the icons— Bert Grimm, Cap Coleman, Sailor Jerry, Lyle Tuttle, and Philadelphia Eddie.
While attending West Chester University, he studied art history while majoring in graphic design. It was then he began incorporating the art of tattooing into his portfolio.
Since graduating WCU, he not only continued his passion for the arts, but is also a successful Real Estate investor in Phila. He has had multiple art showcases and is an award winning Tattoo Artist. He has been bringing his love for American Traditional Tattooing to life with each tattoo.
Mo has been tattooing for 10 years and has been an artist her whole life. She specializes in a wide variety of tattooing including realism, surrealism, portraits, color, black and grey, and fantasy.
Bill has been tattooing for over 25 years, and owned his own shop for 20. He specializes in all kinds of tattooing including color, back and grey, animal portraits, traditional etc. Bill specializes in coverup tattoos and Celtic / Viking style!
Jessica joined our team in November 2024 and is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Jessica has tattooed out of New York for many years and is now bringing her talents to Tell- Tale! She specializes in a lot of cartoon ann anime tattoos as well as a chibi style in bright bold colors!
Kim has been our apprentice since April 2024, and has been coming up strong. She has been an artist since she was very young and always had a passion to create. She went to Bucks County Community College and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design in 2023. Kim has always been a talented artist and wishes to expand her passion to the world of tattooing and spreading her love of the art to each client. Outside of tattooing she enjoys painting, sketching, graphic design, logo / t-shirt design and more.
Paul has been a piercer for over 15 years and has experience in a large variety of body piercings. Paul specializes in walk in piercings. Itching for a piercing? Walk in the shop and ask for Paul and he will get you in!
